Broward County Man Arrested for Sexual Battery

BOCA RATON, FLORIDA – Police have arrested a Broward County man on charges of sexual battery, false imprisonment, and fleeing and eluding. The rape victim was at Delray Medical Center and told authorities that the crime occurred in a vacant house.

Police officers drove to the scene of the rape and found Michael Taylor, 37. Taylor was in a vehicle near the intersection of St. Andrews and Yamato Road, but he fled when police tried to stop him. The incident turned into an early morning chase down Interstate 95.

Finally, the Boca Raton police found the suspect at his Pompano Beach home, where he was arrested on charges of sexual battery, false imprisonment, and fleeing and eluding.
